Have you ever stopped and taken time to think about how

many talented artists are in this world? As you sit and read

these words, somebody with an unbelievable level of talent

is within but a few miles of you. In spite of this, we are lead

to believe that exceptional talent is as scarce as a winning

lottery ticket. TV shows air across televisions every day

searching and showcasing talent from all over the world.

Organizations and businesses are so hungry for this rare and valuable resource that they post job ads and offer enormous salaries in return for a piece of somebody else's mind.

If enormous talent is all around us, why does it seem so difficult to find these days? Simple... We force the exceptionally talented to create with one arm tied behind their back. Our society, our culture, our industries, they only have room for talent that they feel the world needs. How many artists are currently working a career that is only leveraging a fraction of what they truly capable of? How many artists are watering themselves down every day so that they can be what the leaders of our industry think the world needs?

A few years ago, two students with a passion for the media and entertainment industry had a crazy idea. They wanted to create a community of artists and designers that could express their creativity in whatever form they chose, and offer it up to those who were open-minded enough to recognize its potential. 8 Ball Entertainment was born from that idea.

So what makes us different than asset store communities and freelance websites? Simple... We aren't just an online presence, we are an actual community. Every artist that contributes to our product roster lives in our community and collaborates regularly with each other. We literally all know each other personally. Some of us went to college together, some of us met through networking, but all of us are personally acquainted. Not only does this add a strong level of cohesion in the 8BE family, it also adds accountability. We hold each other accountable to high quality standards. When one of us looks bad, we all look bad. We work hard, all of us, to take care of our clientele, and help each other meet the special needs and requests of our customers.
